MUSIC: SEND IN THE CLONES
They jam, they rock, they rap, they’ve got soul, they’ve got groove, and they make the booties move. Send In The Clones will provide the musical entertainment this year at the Elgin Craft Beer Fest. They play a surprisingly eclectic mix of music that runs the gamut from The Beatles and Marvin Gaye to hip-hop to Linkin’ Park, Metallica, and the Zac Brown Band. They pride themselves on performing all music and vocal parts live with passion and raw emotion.

The Elgin Breakfast Rotary Club
The Elgin Breakfast Rotary is a small group of committed people who are dedicated to serving primarily Elgin but impacting the region and world through a combination of collaborative projects. Club members fundraise and donate an estimated $20,000 annually to a broad range of community projects. We have also built international relationships in three countries, including Mexico, Ecuador and Brazil through our ongoing commitment to Rotary's Youth Exchange Program.
The Elgin Breakfast Rotary Club was chartered in 1989 and plays a vital role in our community. Through community-based activities, the Club meets many of our community’s needs including: youth literacy, health and human safety, education, cultural diversity, and the international effort to eradicate polio.
To generate funds toward these local, regional, and global initiatives, the Club conducts numerous fundraising/community building events including:
Salvation Army - ring bells to raise money for the Salvation Army,
Reading Buddies – partner with a local preschool and volunteer to read each month,
Little Library Project – build mini wooden structures to house books around the community to allow access to books for all,
Rotary Youth Exchange - host and sponsor
H.S. students from foreign countries,
Rotary Youth Leadership Academy - annually sponsor local teens to attend a three day camp that emphasizes leadership skills, personal development and citizenship,
Business 25 Scholarship - awards $1,000 in scholarships for 25 years to Elgin students for post-secondary education,
G. Michael Greene Scholarship – awards a $2,000 scholarship annually to an Elgin area student for post-secondary education with a focus on teaching,
Polio Eradication - supports Rotary International efforts to eradicate polio from the face of the earth.
The Club also provides local non for profits scholarships annually.
